The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI) has been named one of the winners of the 2016 Rideshare Corporate Challenge, held by the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) iCommute program. Eighty-four employers, categorized into six groups depending on their number of active employees, participated in the commuting challenge. Throughout the month of October, these employees used the iCommute website to log their trips as they carpooled, used public transit, biked or walked to work. TSRI came out on top in the “Macro Employer” category. To celebrate this success, TSRI will receive a commemorative plaque and will be listed in an ad featured in The San Diego Union-Tribune on Sunday, November 20.
