An interdisciplinary cohort of more than 150 members, our scientists share expertise spanning fundamental science, drug discovery, translational research and digital medicine. Ambitious and dedicated, they readily forge partnerships across departments to reach solutions faster. Their accomplishments have accrued more than 1,100 U.S. patents and led to the founding of 50+ active spin-off companies. Critically, discoveries by Scripps Research faculty have sped the creation of 18 FDA-approved drugs, vaccines and therapeutics.
