Stem cells and their environment: promises and challenges of regenerative medicine
Widely recognized for her work on cellular senescence, Campisi has recently been investigating the effect of this process on adult stem cells. She has received numerous awards, most recently the 2010 Longevity prize from the IPSEN Foundation.
