  Dr. Lin is a world-renown developmental biologist.  His lab has been pioneering on Drosophila germ cell division as a model to study the mechanism for stem cell self-renewal and differentiation.  Their discovery of PIWI and PIWI-associated piRNAs has defined a new class of germ cell regulators critical for spermatogenesis.
