Open Enrollment begins Monday, Oct. 23 and runs through Friday, Nov. 3, at 5 PM Pacific time. This is the annual opportunity for participants to make changes to their Scripps Research benefit selections and, if eligible, enroll (or re-enroll) in the Health Care Spending, Dependent Care Spending, and/or Health Savings Accounts for the 2018 plan year. Plan information was e-mailed to participant’s Scripps email addresses and should have been received around Oct. 9.
In order to effectively manage the ever-changing healthcare landscape, coupled with our current funding environment, TSRI has chosen to implement the following changes for the 2018 plan year:
Please note if you participated in the Healthcare Spending, Dependent Care Spending, or Health Savings Accounts in 2017, you still must log on and elect a new deferral amount to participate in 2018. Your 2017 election WILL NOT roll over to 2018.
Participants with questions regarding Open Enrollment should contact Human Resources at the Benefits Line, 858-784-8487 or benefits@scripps.edu.
