Renowned British sculptor Andy Goldsworthy was on The Scripps Research
Institute campus from January 21 to 24, 2004, to install his sculpture
"Oak Cairn," commissioned in memory of the late immunologist William
O. Weigle, one of the founding scientists of the institute.
