Plate Reader

Plate readers are dynamic instruments that may measure absorbance, fluorescence, and luminescence in 96-well and other plate formats. This plate reader is filter-based, and is capable of the following results:

• Measurement of macromolecular interaction using fluorescence anisotropy/polarization of specific wavelengths.
  • Binding dissociation/association constants (K_a/K_d)
  • Inhibitory Concentrations (IC₅₀)
• Measurement of absolute fluorescence, luminescence, and OD signal of wavelengths that have an associated filter for:
  • Quantification
  • Enzymatic assays
  • FRET
  • Growth curves
  • Enzymatic assays
