PROGRAM

The Sialoglyco 2016 conference will run over three days at the beautiful Fess Parker Hilton Hotel in Santa Barbara, California, USA. Registration commences on Monday, November 14th in the afternoon, followed by the Welcome Reception. The conference will continue Tuesday with sessions covering the biology and chemistry of sialic acids and their roles as ligands of glycan binding proteins that mediate host pathogen interactions, regulate of immune functions, and modulate disease processes. Among our goals in this meeting is to view poster sessions with those whose research paths have encountered sialic acids and who will enrich the conference through their presentations, while meeting with members of the sialobiology research community. The conference will close on Thursday, November 17th with a dinner banquet.
