Showing Their Stuff

At their end of their summer experience, high school students and teachers on both campuses presented their research projects to fellow interns, family, friends, and the Scripps Research community.

Scripps Research faculty and staff who host the students in their labs enjoy the interns' enthusiasm and interest in science, said Marisela Chevez, coordinator for the Scripps California program. "It reminds them, they say, of how exciting science is to those first exploring it, of when they were themselves young scientists."
