Expanding Horizons

Other educational programs are ongoing. This summer, these included a July 20 tour of the California campus by 80 youngsters participating in San Diego's Elementary Institute of Science. The excursion was organized by Immunology Professor Nicholas Gascoigne.

In addition, the Summer Internship Program in Immunology for Undergraduates, coordinated by Assistant Professor Julie Jameson and the Immunology Department, offered laboratory experience to about a dozen undergraduates from across the country.
