Noah Burns and Scott Harrison Honored for Outstanding Research in Chemistry
Noah Z. Burns and Scott T. Harrison, Ph.D. candidates at The Scripps Research Institute’s Kellogg School of Science and Technology, were recently honored for their research accomplishments at Roche’s third-annual graduate research symposium, "Excellence in Chemistry." Burns and Harrison, who were nominated for the honor by their thesis advisors, presented their research to Roche scientists and fellow awardees at the symposium.

La Jolla Campus to Host Job Fair
Scripps Research’s La Jolla campus will present a career fair on Wednesday, June 7, from 10 AM to 2 PM in the Beckman Center Galleria. Scripps Research personnel from both lab and service departments will be on hand to answer questions about their work. Lab tours will leave every half hour. Scripps Research Human Resources personnel will offer tips on improving interviewing and resume writing skills in workshops at 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM.
