A First for Florida

While the establishment of a second Scripps Research campus in Palm Beach County, Florida, is getting underway, Scripps Research has already begun educational and community outreach in the Florida community.

For the first time this summer, two Florida science teachers—Scott Morone of Atlantic Community High School and Audra Davis of Palm Beach Lakes Community High School—participated in the internship program. Their internships on the La Jolla, California campus were made possible by a gift from Bank of America, Palm Beach County.
