"The main advantage of the new space will be the interaction among
the students and postdoctoral fellows in the lab—not just the principal
investigators, who already collaborate," says Professor Velia Fowler.
"The sharing of facilities and informal mixing on all levels will be
wonderful. It will help integrate our efforts to find out how cells
function."
