Bartfai directs the Harold L. Dorris Neurological Research Center, founded in 1999 to provide education and conduct research into neurological disorders, including schizophrenia and Alzheimer's disease, as well as advancing knowledge of the process of aging of the brain.

Cravatt directs the new Helen L. Dorris Institute. He will be leading the effort to recruit an inter-disciplinary team of scientists to focus on understanding neuropathology in children and adolescents.
