A kickoff event for the new Visible Molecular Cell Consortium
WHAT: A kickoff event for the new Visible Molecular Cell Consortium (VMCC), a partnership between The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI) and the University of California (UC), San Diego. Scientists will unveil their “dream” projects and how they plan to take on the challenge of mapping the millions of proteins crucial to cellular function and disease.
WHEN: Friday, October 2, 2015, from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM
WHO: Leaders in cellular imaging from TSRI and UC San Diego, including TSRI Professor Art Olson, UC San Diego Associate Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry Rommie Amaro and other creators behind the breathtaking images and 3D videos developed in this growing field of research (as seen in this video).
