The Scripps Research Institute is one institution with two campuses. Any agreement with USC would maintain Scripps’s unique scientific culture and its commitment to the Florida campus’s continued presence and vitality in the State. As it has for the last 10 years, Scripps will honor all contracts and commitments in its partnership with the State and County. Such an alliance has the potential to enhance Scripps Florida’s leadership in the biosciences over the long-term, with much-strengthened resources for recruiting top scientific talent, acquiring advanced technology, and innovation in graduate education.
