3. The 'Edit' menu |
Normally Windows software holds in the 'Edit' menu things like manipulating text documents, pictures, database entries, etc. In TCL-NT are no such documents, so this submenu offers only one choice.

3.1 Copy whole view |
The 'Copy whole view' submenu is a simple way to copy the view or selections of it to the systems clipboard, from where you can paste the (selected) view to any Windows program which can import data from the clipboard, e.g. Word, Paint Shop Pro etc.
After selecting the submenu 'Copy whole view' a dialog appears on the screen, where you can select the size of the area which you want to copy to the clipboard. There are three sizes (256x256, 512x512 and 1024x1024) which define subareas to select from the whole view, or the whole view itself.
Note: 'the whole view' means the total image area, which is 1280x1024 pixels.
When the selection is confirmed with , a rectangle of the selected size indicates the actual selected subarea on the screen. Move this subarea (with the mouse) to the desired place and click the left mousebutton. The subarea is now copied to the clipboard.
Hint: if the mousecursor is captured within the client area, just click again with the left or right mousebutton.
