In the Center for Regenerative Medicine in La Jolla, California, our focus in the Loring Lab includes a broad spectrum of basic and translational research approaches to investigate the dynamic nature of stem cells. We are a team of highly motivated researchers who love our work and thrive in a collaborative environment. We have gained a reputation in the stem cell community for our experimental rigor and our solid contributions to the scientific literature. The Loring Lab stays on the brink of experimental innovation by incorporating some of the most cutting edge technologies in the life sciences.
- Through experimentation and analysis, our primary goals are to bridge the gap between understanding stem cells at a molecular level and applying that knowledge to the field of regenerative medicine. We are constantly examining and inventing new methodologies and novel approaches to study some of life’s most debilitating diseases; all our work is dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge of the causes of human disease, which may directly influence the production of treatments or possibly even cures.
