Thomas Touboul is a Post Doc freshly arrived from France, where he obtained his PhD title from University Paris XI. During his PhD he differentiated human embryonic stem cells into hepatocytes. He is now trying to apply his differentiation methods to other pluripotent cell lines established in the lab. He will be comparing epigenetic status changes occurring during differentiation with the epigenetic status of isolated hepatocytes. He is also trying to improve his balance on a surfboard along the great beaches that San Diego has to offer!!
